Marco Caldarelli leads our Consumer Products practice in Italy and is a leader within the Bain EMEA CP practice. He is also the global head of Bain's Revenue Growth Management (RGM) solution for Consumer Products.
With over 25 years of experience, Marco advises the leadership teams of global CPG, food & beverage, and consumer durables companies on profitable growth strategy, commercial transformation, operating model and M&A. He is known for hands-on, results-oriented work and for crafting bold, pragmatic solutions with enduring impact. On occasion, he has stepped directly into interim management roles to lead client business units through transition.
His work spans large-scale transformation programs across Western and Eastern Europe and the US covering growth strategy, commercial excellence, RGM, route-to-market design, M&A due diligence and integration, pricing architecture, and AI-driven and broad technological transformation including ERP. He has deep expertise across B2B, B2C, e-commerce, and multi-tier distribution models, and in sectors including food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and semi-durable goods.
Prior to Bain, Marco served as an Officer in the Italian Air Force. He holds an MBA from Bocconi School of Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, awarded summa cum laude.
