Sobre Martha

Martha Eggenberger is a principal based in Bain & Company’s Toronto office. She is a senior leader in the firm’s Utilities & Renewables practice.

Martha’s work has included transformational efforts for some of the largest and most progressive utilities across North America. She is an industry-leading expert on transformation of power and gas distribution networks to support a next-generation customer experience, as well as strategy, regulatory, operational and engineering implications. Her experience also includes cost improvement and organizational design.

Beyond the utility sector, Martha has significant experience working with Bain’s private equity and non-profit clients. 

Martha’s internal leadership involvement includes the Toronto office’s Women@Bain and post-MBA recruiting efforts.

Prior to joining Bain, Martha was a professional engineer in power system planning and engineering planning and design.

Martha earned an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
