Sobre Mark

Mark Daoust is a managing partner and a leader in our Private Equity and Consumer Products practices. Mark is responsible for the firm’s strategy and operations in the region, working closely with counterparts and practice leaders across the globe. 

During his tenure with us, Mark has led several hundred due diligence projects, ranging from middle-market to large sponsors and strategic acquirers. His broad array of corporate experience includes portfolio and business unit growth strategy, business unit full potential, adjacency expansion, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and operating model transformations.

Within the consumer space, his core areas of expertise include beverage alcohol, food and beverage, fitness, restaurants, beauty and cosmetics, and e-commerce.

He has held numerous firm leadership roles across Bain staffing, HR, professional development and global training. He is a recipient of the firm's global Bright-Dix Award for excellence in professional development.

Mark joined us in 2001 after earning a degree in economics from Williams College. He spent four years in our Boston office before attending Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business, from which he graduated with distinction, and returned to the firm upon his graduation.
