WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
Bain & Company is consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work, including the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor. We build extraordinary teams by bringing together diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives in an inclusive environment where individuals can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Customer Practice defines and commercializes Bain’s intellectual property across customer strategy, transformation, and operations. Within this team, the Pricing Practice leads innovation in commercial strategy, tools, and digital solutions.
You’ll work closely with senior Partners, Knowledge and CoE teams, the Bain Capability Network (BCN), Marketing, and Business Development to evolve and commercialize Bain’s offerings globally. You’ll also collaborate with Bain’s product and AI teams to embed new technology into commercial delivery.
YOUR ROLE
The Practice Manager leads product strategy, innovation, and commercialization for Bain’s B2B Pricing portfolio. This is a strategic, high-visibility role focused on advancing our IP, embedding AI and digital capabilities, and ensuring strong market impact.
The Pricing Practice is one of the firm’s fastest-growing capability areas, advising the world’s leading B2B companies on commercial strategy, revenue management, and transformation. We’re investing in the next generation of how that expertise is built, packaged, and delivered at scale and this role owns that agenda.
It’s a high-autonomy seat. You’ll set your own roadmap, influence without formal authority, and build something that matters across a global firm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own the product roadmap
- Define and evolve the product roadmap including tools, diagnostics, playbooks, and delivery assets
- Embed AI and data capabilities into offerings; lead innovation sprints with consulting and BCN teams
- Test and refine new IP through live client engagements; close the loop between frontline feedback and product development
- Track market trends and competitor moves to keep offerings differentiated and future-ready
Drive commercialization and adoption
- Build go-to-market plans, sales materials, demos, and sector-specific plays that Partners can use to win and deliver
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Business Development to increase adoption and revenue
- Monitor product health, pipeline contribution, and win/loss feedback to continuously improve
Enable case teams globally
- Support case teams in selling and delivering engagements including providing training, tools, and product expertise
- Lead and coordinate Knowledge and CoE resources to strengthen benchmarking and delivery capabilities
ABOUT YOU
You have a consulting or professional services background and have since built experience owning a product, offering, or strategy function. You’re as comfortable setting a roadmap as you are presenting it to senior Partners. You don’t need to be a commercial strategy expert on day one, you need to be a sharp, structured builder who can learn fast and operate independently.
- Background in strategy consulting, ideally 2–5 years before moving into a product, strategy, or commercial role
- Hands-on experience owning a product, offering, or strategy function — not just advising on it
- Track record of building structured, repeatable outputs: playbooks, tools, go-to-market materials, or IP
- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization without formal authority
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including commercial, tech, analytics, KM, or similar
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making and genuine curiosity about AI and its application to commercial strategy
- 6–10 years of total professional experience; MBA or equivalent graduate degree is a plus, not a requirement
- Direct commercial or pricing experience is a plus but adjacent backgrounds in product strategy, monetization, RevOps, GTM transformation, or professional-services solution development are equally welcome
