Asit Goel is a partner in based in Bain & Company's San Francisco office. He is an expert in Bain's Technology, Private Equity and Strategy practices, as well as a leader of the firm's work in the internet of things, cloud ecosystem and semiconductors.
He holds more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience across China, India, the Netherlands, France, Germany, the UK and the USA.
During his tenure at Bain, Asit has helped several firms develop their respective IOT strategies, as well as design and implement the capabilities and operating models necessary to achieving them. He has also worked closely with large semiconductor firms, data center and networking infrastructure OEMs, cloud ecosystem players and private equity firms on a wide range of topics, including growth strategy, M&A, multi-year transformations and product to services and solutions transitions.
He previously served as SVP and GM of Secure Monitoring & Control and Internet of Things at NXP Semiconductors. He has also held various operational roles and board positions in the technology industry.
His experience in private equity, combined with his past experience across the technology industry, bring an owner and operator mindset to his strategy consulting work.
Asit holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University.
