With more than 30 years of experience in the TMT industry, Brendan has held CIO roles at BT and Telefonica, both at global and UK levels. Moreover, he has held senior positions in a range of technology start-ups.
Best practices for IT migration: Ensure it’s customer value-led, simplify your business as well as your IT, take an iterative approach to deliver customer value and IT capability in parallel, and remember IT migration is a partnership between business and IT, jointly making sure all decisions are in the best interest of the customer and the business.
Brendan’s expertise is in technology strategy and operating model, digital transformation and large scale IT integration programmes, innovation and Agile product development. He focuses on how new technologies play a role in enabling the transformation of the telecommunications industry.
Brendan is passionate about developing skills for life and industry in young people, as well as driving change to create a more diverse technical and digital workforce in the UK.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics from King’s College London.
