Share your journey to Bain.

After 10 years of doing student recruitment in academia, I was looking to make a change. This time, I wanted to focus on culture. My search, as many of our advanced degree hires experience, led me to Bain.

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

Not only did the 5,000+ Glassdoor reviews convince me this would be a great place to work, but the people I researched on LinkedIn and those I interviewed with showed me that I could be successful, move up and around in the company, and have a long career here working alongside team members who work hard, care about their colleagues, and still manage to have fun during busy and stressful times.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

While I’m not on case teams making decisions that directly impact our clients, I seek the talent that does. For Bain to offer industry-leading changes, we need result-oriented consultants that can be leaders across industries that are fun, hardworking, humble and collaborative. It’s my role (through events, coffee chats, and workshops) to find this talent and to let them know that our apprenticeship model is, by far, the best model to grow under. At Bain, they’ll be surrounded by people who will challenge, support and inspire them. They’ll also work on social impact work that addresses local, national, and global issues. If I can get someone through the door with conversation, programming, and interviewing, my work is impactful for the firm and its clients.
