Samer Hodroj

Samer Hodroj is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice. He specializes in energy efficiency, with a particular focus on the design and enablement of large-scale energy efficiency programs and on activating private sector participation.

Samer has worked extensively with public and private sector clients across strategy development, operating model design, public-private partnership structures, and feasibility studies. He also brings deep expertise in the municipal sector, where he has advised governments, utilities, and investors on transformation and infrastructure-related initiatives. Prior to joining Bain, Samer worked as a consultant at another leading global consulting firm and also held roles in the fintech sector.

Beyond his client work, Samer is an active member of Diverse Abilities at Bain (DAAB). He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Outside of work, he is a passionate sports enthusiast and endurance athlete who has completed more than 20 full 42km marathons across 15+ cities.
