About James
James Hadley is a senior partner at Bain & Company.
He joined Bain in London in 1996 and since then has worked with clients around the world. His experience spans numerous industries, with particular depth in Communications Media & Entertainment.
James has advised companies and led assignments on wide range of business issues, from customer strategy to organisation and cost reduction. His deepest expertise is in strategy, from complex portfolio strategies to business unit strategies and corporate ventures / start-ups. He has also been at the heart of several large, multi-year strategic transformations. He is a thought-leader within Bain on strategy, and led Bain's Strategy practice in EMEA for 10 years before taking on the UK managing partner role.
James is the former managing partner of Bain UK (2020-2026) and Bain Middle East (2008-2012) where he was responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s strategy. He was also elected for two terms on the firm’s Global Compensation and Promotion Committee (2013-2019).
