Manager, Bain Capability Network (Consumer Product)

Bain established its Capability Network in 2004 with the launch of its first hub in New Delhi. BCN Mexico plays a vital role in supporting Bain's global case teams by delivering high-quality analytics and research across industries. WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work as part of a team composed of Directors, Managers, Project Leaders, Associates, and Analysts on projects typically ranging from 3 weeks to 6 months. Delivery models vary and may include working as part of a broader global Bain case team, independently with a Bain Partner or Associate Partner, or directly with end clients. You will collaborate with Bain’s global Consumer Products Practice leadership and work alongside client-facing teams to design and deliver solutions in areas such as pricing strategy, promotions, trade terms, brand positioning, and cost optimization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead a team of 5–10 (Project Leaders, Associates, Analysts) to build, scale, and deliver solutions in the Consumer Products domain
• Act as an expert individual contributor on high-impact engagements, partnering with Bain case teams and clients directly
• Scope, design, and execute consumer product solutions aligned to strategic client needs (e.g., pricing, promotions, brand growth)
• Build strong internal and external relationships with Bain’s global CP leadership and client stakeholders
• Apply tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and R to analyze data and deliver clear, actionable insights
• Drive innovation by improving existing solutions, introducing automation, and identifying efficiency opportunities
• Manage project timelines, quality control, team development, and client communications
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and coaching for the CP CoE team

ABOUT YOU

8–11 years of relevant experience (consulting, analytics, or industry) in Consumer Products or Retail domains
Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a strong academic record
Hands-on experience in brand growth strategy, pricing, revenue management, and negotiation strategy
Experience working with and interpreting data from sources like Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, Mintel, and internal financials
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx (required); Python, R, or SPSS (preferred)
Ability to synthesize complex data into simple, high-impact insights
