Since opening its doors in 1992, Bain Chicago has served clients ranging from small and midsize Midwestern companies to Fortune 1000 firms. Our work spans capabilities in a wide array of industries, including consumer products, retail, healthcare, technology, telecom, industrials, financial services and private equity. The Chicago office has been home to many of Bain’s top leaders, including board members, committee chairs, and practice and capability area directors.
Despite our rapid growth, Bain Chicago prides itself on a close-knit, smaller-office feel. We take our team experience very seriously, whether at the individual project level or across the office as a whole. We regularly survey project team members and incorporate feedback into our broader-scale, day-to-day operations. At Bain Chicago, you will find a network of incredibly smart yet down-to-earth people, who really enjoy working together and are invested in one another’s success.

What to Expect?
A commitment to education innovation is one of the main focuses of Bain's social sector involvement. As a firm, we partner with the most groundbreaking organizations at the forefront of education reform. In Chicago, we continue that tradition through our work with the Rowe Elementary School and Inspire, two organizations with which we have longstanding partnerships.
Rowe Elementary School
In early 2008, Bain joined forces with Northwestern University Settlement House to create a new charter grammar school to serve low-income, minority students in grades K–8. Bain Chicago continues to support Rowe Elementary School in several ways: serving on the board, volunteering at the school and providing strategic support.
Founded in 1998 by Bain and Monitor Associate Consultants, Inspire is a national volunteer organization that provides management consulting advice to nonprofit organizations with a youth-oriented, education focus. Over the past 11 years, Inspire has grown into a 501(c)(3) organization with a volunteer base of more than 250 junior consultants.
