The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.
Who you will work with
The Commercial Excellence Coro Center of Excellence (CoE), within BCN, is a specialized team focused on delivering B2B growth solutions through advanced analytics, scalable data operations, visualization, and intelligent automation.
Fully embedded within Coro, Bain’s software and data business under the Commercial Excellence Practice, the CoE partners closely with Coro leadership and consulting teams to deploy data-intensive solutions such as MoneyMap and Profit Cube. The team brings deep expertise in Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and advanced analytics/ML to generate actionable insights and drive measurable client impact.
In addition, the CoE houses an in-house innovation center dedicated to developing next-generation tools and products, leveraging GenAI and automation to enable faster, smarter, and more scalable delivery.
About you
- Associate : Work experience range in case highest qualification is undergraduate studies 2-5 years and for Postgraduate with 0-3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or related roles building and deploying AI/GenAI
- Senior Associate : Work experience range in case highest qualification is undergraduate studies 5-8 years and for Postgraduate with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or related roles building and deploying AI/GenAI
- Expert proficiency in Python and strong command of SQL for building applications and data transformations; familiarity with software engineering best practices
- Hands-on experience with agentic/AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Experience working with leading LLM providers and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), with the ability to evaluate and integrate model offerings into real workflows
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases/embeddings, tool-calling, and function orchestration to build grounded and scalable AI applications
- Experience designing and building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs that support GenAI/agent workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deploying AI systems in production is an added plus
- Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitHub Actions) and secure deployment practices
- Practical experience with model evaluation, monitoring frameworks, and performance optimization to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical ability, and a track record of applying AI/GenAI technologies to solve real business challenges
What you’ll do
- Partner with Coro leadership and delivery teams to understand workflows, pain points, and value levers across consulting data operations.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities where Agentic AI can improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of processes and delivery
- Design Agentic AI architectures (agents, tools, orchestration, memory, guardrails) and build rapid GenAI prototypes to prove value, iterate quickly with users, and define clear success metrics and adoption criteria.
- Build and optimize grounding and structured retrieval patterns (e.g., RAG with vector search) to ensure responses are traceable to domain data and maintain factual accuracy.
- Work with engineering to productionize validated prototypes into reliable, secure, and scalable services integrated with Coro platforms and enterprise data sources.
- Develop robust application and data-layer logic using Python and SQL, including APIs, pipelines, automation workflows, and maintainable codebases.
- Implement model evaluation, monitoring, and performance tracking for deployed systems (quality, latency, cost, bias, and safety).
- Ensure responsible AI practices and guardrails are embedded in design, covering evaluation frameworks, bias mitigation, and ethical considerations.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering rigor and quality standards.
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, patterns, and documentation to enable repeatable build-and-scale of AI solutions across use cases.
- Stay up to date on state-of-the-art generative models, LLM tooling, and best practices to continuously elevate solution quality and performance
