WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Customer Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Bain Capability Network (BCN), a core part of our Expert Client Delivery (ECD) model. BCN supports Bain teams globally with advanced analytics, research, and domain expertise across industries and capabilities.
Within the CoE, you’ll work alongside a high-performing, globally distributed team focused on customer strategy, commercial excellence, and go-to-market transformation. You’ll collaborate closely with Bain case teams, senior leadership, and subject-matter experts across regions including EMEA and India to deliver impactful, client-ready solutions.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting client development and commercial acceleration efforts. You’ll help shape strategic opportunities, develop compelling narratives, and translate complex client needs into clear, actionable outputs that drive business impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support client development and commercial acceleration initiatives across industries and geographies
- Identify and shape growth opportunities by synthesizing industry trends, client business models, competitive positioning, and revenue potential
- Translate Bain’s Brand, Marketing & Strategy capabilities into compelling proposals, pitch decks, and RFP/RFI responses
- Collaborate with BCN Project Leaders and Managers to develop and commercialize client solutions
- Create clear, structured points of view and deliver outputs aligned with client objectives in ambiguous or open-ended situations
- Develop reusable assets, including industry perspectives, research syntheses, and success stories to support future client engagements
- Deliver high-quality, zero-defect outputs with strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving
- Use strong storylining skills to support senior stakeholder discussions
- Contribute to internal operations, including leadership updates, business reviews, and knowledge management
ABOUT YOU
- Undergraduate degree (Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field preferred) with 2–5 years of experience, or postgraduate degree (MBA preferred) with 1–3 years of experience
- Experience contributing to sales collateral (e.g., proposals, pitch decks, RFPs) in areas such as branding, marketing, customer experience, go-to-market, or growth strategy
- Experience in professional services or within a customer/marketing strategy function in industry is a plus
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data visualization or analytical tools is an advantage
- Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills and ability to translate ambiguous client needs into actionable insights
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in commercial strategy, client development, and growth-oriented problem solving
- Fluency in English required; please submit your resume in English
WORKING MODEL
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence four days per week at our Polanco (Mexico City) office.
RECRUITING PROCESS
Our interview process includes a combination of behavioral and case interviews. As part of the process, you will be asked to complete a case interview to assess your problem-solving and analytical skills. A case interview is a structured, real-world business scenario where you’ll walk through your thinking and approach to solving a client problem.
