Senior Business Analyst – MarTech
Description & Requirements
WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the top ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor Best Place to Work list and have earned the #1 overall spot a record seven times.
Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a core member of the MarTech team within Digital Marketing, you will help shape and deliver the product vision and roadmap for both Cvent and Marketo. You’ll act as a strategic partner to the teams that execute Bain’s events and campaigns, translating their business needs into solutions that maximize business value and efficiency – representing the global “voice of the user” for both platforms.
You will split your time between working with business stakeholders to understand program needs and collaborating with technical teams (including both vendor and Bain resources) to deliver scalable platform improvements. This role sits at the center of a fast-evolving MarTech stack, with opportunities to influence how Bain’s tools support both operational excellence and customer experience.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Senior Business Analyst – MarTech, you will play a key role in unlocking the value of Bain’s marketing technology platforms, with a focus on our event management (Cvent) and marketing automation (Marketo) systems. You’ll partner with stakeholders across teams such as Marketing Events, Digital Mailings, Practice & Account Marketing, and Market Reputation to define requirements, streamline workflows, and ensure we are optimizing these platforms to enhance client experiences and power data-driven marketing decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of business, marketing, and technology and is eager to grow their product management skillset.
You will own the backlog and roadmap for Cvent and Marketo, managing intake and translating stakeholder needs into impactful, technically feasible enhancements. As a subject matter expert, you’ll help shape how we use both tools to power marketing programs and insights. You will champion test-and-learn approaches, using a range of data sources to inform decisions and define success metrics.
