You’ll be part of Bain’s Global Coaching Team, a collaborative and high-impact team that provides and enables transformational coaching, experiences, and training to help Bainies perform at their full potential, navigate their careers with intention, and deliver extraordinary results.
The Global Coaching team sits within the Global Talent Engagement department, which champions a transformative approach to belonging, resilience, and wellbeing that enables our diverse teams to collaborate seamlessly, achieve exceptional results, and grow together.
We bring together coaching professionals with expertise in strategy consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, and career transitions. The team partners with local office and regional leadership, Talent, and Learning teams globally to ensure Bain leaders at all levels have access to world-class support, insights, and tools.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As the Senior Manager, Global Coaching (APAC), you will play a key role in delivering Bain’s global coaching strategy across APAC. You will provide coaching and guidance to Bain employees — with a focus on leadership populations — while partnering with office leadership, Talent teams, and global stakeholders to strengthen coaching capabilities, career support, and leadership development across the region.
This role combines executive coaching, stakeholder engagement, capability building, and career transition support within a highly collaborative and globally connected team environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, career, staffing, and departure teams across assigned APAC offices on nuanced talent and coaching needs
- Deliver individual and group coaching engagements for Bain employees, with a focus on Manager-level and senior populations
- Partner with regional and global coaching leadership to define goals, success metrics, and coaching priorities across offices
- Provide confidential career and departure support to priority talent populations
- Build relationships with employers, clients, recruitment agencies, and alumni networks to support career transition opportunities
- Support Bain clients and alumni with talent identification needs by connecting departing Bain employees and alumni with relevant opportunities
- Analyze coaching and departure data to identify trends, generate insights, and enhance talent support strategies
- Design and facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on leadership development, coaching capability, and career planning
- Collaborate with regional and global coaching colleagues to share best practices and contribute to strategic coaching initiatives
ABOUT YOU
- ICF Coaching Certification required or working towards coaching certification.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in executive coaching, leadership coaching, career coaching, or related fields
- Experience within professional services, executive search, corporate coaching, or consulting environments preferred
- Strong understanding of coaching modalities that support transformation, career transitions, and leadership development
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build trusted relationships across senior stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and professional guidance
- International mindset with experience navigating cross-cultural environments and global teams
- Fluency in English required; additional APAC language capabilities are advantageous
- Experience working across multiple regions or within global organizations preferred
