Who you'll work with

You'll join our Research & Data Services team, partnering closely with Bain consulting teams, Expert Delivery, and Practice teams to deliver high-quality research and business insights. You'll collaborate with colleagues across industries and geographies, helping teams answer complex business questions through data, market intelligence, and knowledge management. This role offers opportunities to deepen your expertise in specific industries while working in a highly collaborative, global environment.

Where you'll fit within the team

As a Senior Specialist, Research & Data Services, you'll provide high-quality business research and information services that help Bain teams solve clients' toughest challenges. You'll independently deliver short- to medium-term research projects, build expertise in designated practice areas, and contribute to the ongoing development of research capabilities, products, and services. 

What you'll do

  • Deliver business research using leading desktop research tools and databases to support consulting teams on client engagements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand research objectives and provide accurate, well-organized, and actionable insights.
  • Develop expertise in assigned industries or practice areas while supporting a broad range of business research requests.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal clients by providing responsive service and incorporating feedback into future work.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, process improvements, and innovation initiatives across the Research & Data Services team.
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of research assets, resources, and information management processes.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and other team projects, and lead small-scale initiatives when appropriate. 

About you

Required qualifications

  • 4 – 10 years of experience conducting business research within consulting, market research, professional services, or a similar environment.
  • Strong experience using business research databases such as Factiva, LSEG/Refinitiv, S&P Capital IQ, and comparable research platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of commercial industries and economic topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in new sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-cultural stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

Working model

This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least two days per week.
