MILAN & LONDON—May 13, 2026—Bain & Company today announced that Pierluigi Serlenga has been appointed as managing partner of its Southern & Eastern Europe business.
Based in Italy, Serlenga will lead Bain’s business across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, and in Central & Eastern Europe, with a focus on helping clients deliver complex transformation agendas, while building on long-term client partnerships and continuing to invest in development of the firm’s local teams in the region and its unique, collaborative culture.
With 25 years of service at Bain, Serlenga will continue to act as managing partner of Bain’s Italy business while also co-leading the firm’s Aerospace, Defense & Government Services sector globally. He brings to his role deep experience advising industrial clients across the firm’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region on strategy, M&A, transformation and performance improvement.
