Abhay Kumar is a member of our Telecommunications practice.
He has more than 15 years of consulting experience across Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA. Much of his work has centered around telecoms clients in the USA, India, Australia, SEA and Middle East.
Abhay primarily advises clients in the telecoms value chain including wireless / wireline / integrated service providers, equipment manufacturers and infrastructure providers. He is an expert in large-scale transformations, performance improvement and operations. Abhay has additionally led work spanning growth strategy, B2B sales and channel strategy, and commercial due diligence.
Prior to joining us, he was an Associate Partner at another global consulting firm and a member of their Telecoms practice based in New York city.
Abhay holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Technology in electronics and communications from Vellore Institute of Technology, India.
In addition to his client work, he is a member of our Asians at Bain affinity group. In his personal time, Abhay loves to catch up on his reading, cook healthy meals, practice yoga and travel with his wife.
