Share your journey to Bain.
During my junior year, I watched a presentation by Bain and was memorized by how it could propel my career after college. My expectations were surpassed during my summer as an Associate Consultant Intern. Bain continues to excite me by the work we do, the people we employ, and the impact we have on our clients.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
The people! I’ve worked at other companies for internships and externships and no other company has come close to the amazing group of intelligent, passionate, fun and humble people at Bain.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
No one has the same path at Bain which makes the job so unique. I’ve always had an interest in talent, and I’ve tried to tailor my work at Bain to reflect that. From seeking out cases that involve talent strategy for our clients, to being heavily involved in our recruiting efforts and coaching and mentoring my supervisees and mentees, I’ve really been able to put talent at the center of my career while at Bain.
Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.
My favorite cases have always involved close client collaboration. My team worked on a call center strategy case with clients in the U.S. who wanted to identify specific opportunities to improve customers’ experience. We also looked at their outsourced call centers and I was able to take a trip to the Philippines with the senior client team.
I also love recruiting. I’ve enjoyed leading our recruiting efforts for Associate Consultants and helping bring great talent to Bain while also helping college students understand all of the doors Bain can open for them.
