His work with financial investors lies at the intersection of technology and investing, where he supports a broad set of stakeholders across growth equity and venture capital markets. Mike has conducted more than 20 Accelerator sprints, with a focus on high-growth software assets, directly advising many founders within venture-backed firms.

He also holds significant experience working with corporate clients in the Enterprise Technology, Energy, and Aerospace sectors. Mike’s focuses lie in corporate strategy, product/market strategy, M&A, and commercial due diligence, and GTM optimization, strategy, cost and organization. Additionally, he is an expert in emerging technologies, including DevOps, the broader data management stack, artificial intelligence, MLOps, machine learning, and media technology such as Headless CMS or Retail Media Networks.

Before joining Bain in 2018, Mike served on the Finance team at Frito-Lay PepsiCo, rotating through to support most business functions in his time there (Supply Chain, Innovation, Sales, and Marketing) – this included 3 months in Brazil where he had grown up as a child.

He holds both an MBA and BBA (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He regularly travels back to Ann Arbor as a leader in graduate and undergraduate recruiting efforts.

In addition to his client work, Mike currently leads our internal training efforts across Texas, coordinating closely with Global business needs. He is also very active in the Bain Innovation Exchange helping to automate business processes or commercialize internal tools for client / case team use.

In his personal time, Mike loves to travel (to his wife's hometown in Sao Paulo) and stay active, running frequently with his wife, Maria and their rescue dog, Maizey – they are avid dog-lovers, deeply involved with the SPCA of Texas.
