Dr. Markus Simon is a member of Bain's Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice. He has more than 15 years' of experience in the consulting industry and has also spent 5 years in various top management positions in the automotive industry as well as the mechanical engineering industry.
Markus received a degree in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at the University of Siegen. He completed his doctorate with magna cum laude at the University of Bremen.
Before joining us, Markus was partner for another top strategy consulting firm where he was setting up and leading the firm's Machinery & Industrial Automation client segment in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
