Michael Sion

Michael Sion works in Bain's Aerospace, Defense, & Government Services and Private Equity practices.

 

Michael advises corporate and investor clients in Aerospace & Defense and industrials.  He leads strategy development for top A&D companies and advises leaders in private capital on investment opportunities across commercial aerospace, defense, government services, space, and broader industrials.  He has led numerous strategy, commercial due diligence, and commercial excellence projects in these sectors.

 

Michael has authored several Bain reports on the Aerospace and Defense supply base and Commercial Aerospace outlook.  He has been interviewed by and quoted in the Financial Times, Aviation Week, and other media.

 

Michael was a founding member of Bain's Washington, DC office after working three years in the New York office.  He began his career at the Center for Strategic & International Studies and DFI International, where he worked on strategy and policy issues in national security.

 

He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a BA in international affairs from George Washington University.
