Louis Nilsson is a Partner and Head of Bain's Copenhagen office, and a member of Bain’s global Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice.
With deep experience across strategy, operating model design, M&A, and full potential transformations, Louis works with leadership teams navigating moments of change – helping them build lasting capabilities and improve performance across the Nordics and internationally.
His client work spans machinery and equipment, automation, process industries, and renewable energy companies across the value chain, with particular depth in full potential transformations and supply chain redesign.
Before joining Bain, Louis completed a PhD in Nanoscience at Aarhus University, with research exchanges at Tsinghua University; University of California, San Diego; Freie Universität Berlin; and University of California, Irvine. He also completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Aarhus School of Business.
Louis is based in Copenhagen, where he is raising three energetic kids with his wife.
