David Gautard

David Gautard is a member of our Financial Services and Private Equity practices.

He brings nearly 10 years of experience in strategy and management consulting. Before joining the Montreal office, he worked in our Paris office and later served as Chief Operating Officer at Defacto, a European fintech startup specializing in short-term lending for SMBs, where he helped scale the business.

David brings deep expertise in Financial Services, where he has supported growth strategies and large-scale transformation programs for leading banks.

He also partners with leading private equity firms, as well as institutional investors, to unlock value across the investment life-cycle – from fund strategy, sector screening, and operating model design to commercial due diligence and portfolio company value-creation initiatives.

David holds an MSc from École Polytechnique (Paris) and HEC (Paris).
