Within the retail industry, Lewis has experience advising clients in the department store, specialty store and restaurant sectors. He has helped leading retailers with their growth strategies, operational excellence and organizational effectiveness and efficiency. He also has significant experience working with protein, dairy and other suppliers to the grocery and restaurant industries.
Lewis's engagements have focused on customer segmentation, brand positioning, customer experience and loyalty, store labor, store footprint and supply chain optimization.
He has led numerous large-scale transformations and has significant program management expertise.
Lewis joined Bain in 1996. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Mathematical Economic Analysis.
