Michael Kochan

Michael Kochan is a member of our Financial Services and Performance Improvement practices. He leads our Sustainable Finance efforts across the Americas, as well as our ongoing partnership with the World Economic Forum's insurance and asset management committee.

Mike's focus is on strategy and transformation efforts for our banking, insurance, and wealth management clients. He is an expert in corporate and business unit strategy, customer experience and loyalty, cost and complexity reduction, and digitally-enabled operations improvement.

He has more than 15 years of consulting experience across North and South America and the UK. During that time, he has also advised mining, airline, and telecom clients on strategy and shareholder value and has also led complex implementation programs in a number of settings, including M&A, restructuring, supplier negotiations, and on-site operations transformation.

Prior to joining us, he worked in venture capital, healthcare consulting, and for a medical device startup.

Mike holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
