Michael Tonelli

Michael Tonelli serves as the global leader of our Paper & Packaging practice

He has 15 years of management consulting experience focused on large strategy programs, cost transformations, supply chain and procurement programs, and organizational restructuring. His expertise spans paper and packaging, including corrugated packaging, as well as private equity.

Prior to joining Bain, Michael held positions at Merrill Lynch and Commerce Capital Markets. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree in economics, international relations and Spanish from Tufts University.
