Stuart Love

Stuart Love leads Bain's global Mining practice and is a founding member of Bain's Perth office. He is an active member of the firm's Energy & Natural Resources and Private Equity practices.

Stuart has more than 20 years of consulting experience, with a strong focus on corporate and asset strategy, performance improvement and M&A transaction and integration support. 

He has deep expertise in the global mining sector, having worked across a wide range of commodities within most major mining regions including Australia, Africa, Southeast Asia, North America and South America.

Stuart's private equity and M&A experience extends beyond 50 due diligence assignments and multiple post-acquisition support programs across a wide range of industries in Europe, North America and Australasia. Additionally, he has worked in the industrial products, oil & gas, consumer products, telecommunications and retail banking sectors.

Stuart has applied his consulting knowledge globally with Bain, having worked in the firm's Sydney, London, Tokyo, Melbourne, New York and Johannesburg offices.

In addition to Bain, Stuart was previously an owner and partner of a boutique consulting and corporate finance firm in Perth.

Stuart studied at the University of Western Australia where he received a Bachelor of Commerce. He achieved an MBA from AGSM in Sydney, including an exchange to The Wharton School, and is a Chartered Accountant.
