He has more than 18 years of consulting experience in B2B pricing and commercial excellence, in addition to nearly a decade of industry experience. His most recent research focuses on the role that pricing plays in the shift to more digital and consumption-based business models. He also led the development of our proprietary dynamic pricing solution, the Bain Dynamic Pricing Engine.
Chuck has experience across a range of industries, including industrials, technology, media, consumer goods, healthcare, travel, hospitality and leisure. He works with clients to address issues related to pricing strategy, operations and analytics, in addition to price-setting and enablement tools and technology.
He holds additional expertise in commercial effectiveness topics, including go-to-market and channel strategy, sales process and operating model design, as well as sales operations and effectiveness.
Prior to joining us, he co-founded the pricing practice at another major global consulting firm.
Chuck is a featured speaker for the Professional Pricing Society and a guest lecturer at Cornell University, Yale University, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University and Emory University, focusing on pricing, profitability management and customer strategy.
Prior to consulting, Chuck worked in venture capital and spent five years as a VP of finance for a major family entertainment player.
He earned his MBA from Emory University.
