Acerca de Federico

Federico Eisner is a Senior Partner and a leading member of Bain’s Global Consumer Products and Strategy practices.

He joined Bain in 1998 as a summer associate in São Paulo during his MBA internship, and has more than 25 years' of experience in strategy consulting, across Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa and APAC.

Federico has expertise in most of the relevant consumer categories and functions. He works with CEOs and presidents, boards, and executive teams of global leaders, heading projects that address strategy, digital transformations, marketing, go-to-market, M&A, operations, and organizational redesign. He also leads global projects with leading Technology players, fintech and marketplace ecosystems, both in B2C and B2B spaces.

Through that experience in Tech space, Federico created and launched a podcast series with 25 episodes, called Escaladores, profiling the scaling story of Mercado Libre, Latin America’s leading Tech player, in direct conversations with their leaders.

Since January 2023, Federico is based in London, with his new global leadership role. From 2007 to 2022, Federico was based in Brazil and, from 2001 to 2006, was based in Brazil, covering clients in Latin America and beyond. He is the founder of our Buenos Aires office, co-founder of our Santiago office, and was the leader of our Buenos Aires office from its inception until June 2021.

Federico has been significantly active with Social Impact work. He is the co-founder of MOVER – “Movimento pela Equidade Racial,” a coalition of 47 leading companies in Brazil, which accelerates the leadership positions of Black people in Brazil and increases their presence in the labour market. He has been the Chairman of the Board of “Enseñá for Argentina” (an affiliate of Teach for All), co-founder and director of the Council of “Argentinos por la Educación,” a Mentor in Endeavor, and a member of the TEDxRiodelaPlata advisory board team.

Before joining Bain, he was the CEO of Latinstocks.com, a start-up in the finance space, and worked on the products team of another consulting firm, before beginning his MBA studies.

Federico holds a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from Columbia University. Married to Andrea and the father of four children, he is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.
