Leader in Bain’s Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Fund practice in the Middle East
Karen is a member of our Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Fund practice in the Middle East. She has over 10 years of experience across the Middle East & North America, primarily helping Private Equity funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds and other institutional investors realize value across the full investment lifecycle.
She focuses on fund strategy formulation, new fund set-up, asset allocation, and operating model redesign (including organization, governance, policies & processes). She also has significant experience leading due diligences, sector screens and post-acquisition engagements. Karen is also an active member of our Advanced Manufacturing Services practice, with a particular focus on trade and logistics.
In addition to her client work, Karen is very passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and is the champion for Women@Bain in the Middle East.
Karen holds an M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering and B.S. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon.
Karen is a mother to two wonderful children, Alexander and Julie.
