During his tenure at Bain, Mark has led more than 200 due diligence projects, ranging from middle-market to large sponsors and strategic acquirers. His broad array of corporate experience includes portfolio and business unit growth strategy, business unit full potential, operational improvement, adjacency expansion, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategy implementation.
Within the consumer products and retail spaces, his core knowledge areas include beverages, alcohol, restaurants, fitness, beauty and cosmetics, and e-commerce.
He has held numerous firm leadership roles across Bain Bay Area staffing, HR, professional development and global training. He is a recipient of the firm's global Bright-Dix award for excellence in professional development.
Mark joined Bain in 2001 after earning a degree in economics from Williams College. He spent four years in Bain’s Boston office before attending Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business, from which he graduated with distinction, and returned to the firm upon his graduation.
