Mark Kovac is a founding member of, and leader in, Bain's B2B Go-to-Market practice, and served as global leader of the practice from 2015-2022.

Mark is currently the global leader of our Coro suite of B2B tools that help companies uncover, prioritize and pursue growth opportunities. He is also a leader in our Technology practice.

With over 26 years at Bain, Mark continues to work with leading B2B companies to implement highly pragmatic strategies that accelerate profitable, organic growth. He develops and executes commercial excellence programs, including improvements in sales & channel effectiveness, digital marketing, pricing and offering management.

Mark has extensive experience working across technology sectors, including enterprise software & hardware, IT services and digital media. Additionally, he has worked in several industrial sectors such as construction products, electronic components, industrial machinery and equipment rental.

Mark was recognized by Consulting Magazine in 2019 as one of its Top 25 Consultants in the category of "Excellence in Client Service."

Prior to joining Bain, Mark spent three years with Price Waterhouse as a senior accountant and two years with Dell Computer as a treasury manager.

Mark earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, graduating in 1996 as a Tuck Scholar. He also graduated magna cum laude from Miami University (Ohio) in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
