Jonathan McCrostie

Jonathan is a member of our Strategy and Software & Technology practices.

He is an experienced strategic advisor to companies across industries, focusing primarily on vertical and horizontal software businesses. Jonathan supports software firms across a revenue range from US $100 million to over US $1 billion, helping them define corporate and business‑unit strategies that generate sustainable long‑term growth amid global uncertainty. Beyond strategy, he advises clients on commercial acceleration and AI, including evaluating AI risks and opportunities and identifying and executing actionable ways portfolio companies can leverage AI to enhance their products and drive enterprise value.

Jonathan earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar, and holds a BA and an MSt in history from the University of Oxford.
