Liam Connolly

Liam is a leader in our Energy and Natural Resources, Sustainability and Private Equity practices. He leads Bain Australia's Sustainability practice and is the Climate Investing lead for our APAC Private Equity practice. 

Liam has deep expertise in the global utilities, energy and mining sectors, having worked across a wide range of topics in energy transition, sustainability, strategy and driving scale performance improvement transformations (across operations, supply chain, capital projects). 

Within private equity, Liam focuses on energy transition and climate investing engagements.

Additionally, he has led engagements in airlines, telecommunications, financial services, engineering services, consumer products and healthcare.

Liam joined our Perth office in 2012 and has subsequently worked in our San Francisco, Toronto, New York, and Amsterdam offices. Outside of his client work, he has played people leadership roles in the Australian practice and is the Perth office lead.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
