He has more than 10 years of consulting experience with Bain, working with clients in developed and emerging markets. He has advised clients across Bain's Munich, Sydney, London, Warsaw and Istanbul offices.
Richard holds deep expertise in fact-based negotiations (FBN) with suppliers, category management across trading levers in food and non-food, retail format strategy, G&A optimization and turnaround. He also has extensive experience driving advanced analytics and agile to fully exploit the "power of data" in digital transformations.
He studied in Bayreuth and Japan, and holds a PhD from Witten/Herdecke University.
