Rob Levy

Rob Levy is a member of our Private Equity and Technology and Cloud Services practices, with over $50B of deals closed and over $10B in exits. He joined in 2021 after serving as an expert advisor since 2018.

As an operating executive, Rob brings over 30 years of extensive investment and strategic and operational executive experience to lead all aspects of the computer software, hardware, and services business. This includes running large international, multi-billion-dollar software organizations, turning around and managing businesses to successful growth, significantly increasing shareholder value, and achieving successful exit outcomes.

Rob’s investment experience includes operating partner, EIR, and board chair, member, and advisor. His expertise includes thesis creation and market analysis, target identification, roll-up strategy, and due diligence (strategic/ GTM, commercial, and technical).

Both pre-and post-acquisition, Rob engages with the largest PE firms and Fortune 1000 software companies in the US and internationally, where he leads projects spanning strategy and industry insights, value creation and realization, M&A, GTM, pricing and business model development, and operational excellence and alignment across product, marketing, operations, and support domains.

Rob is a senior investment advisor on Goldman Sachs' Private Equity Software Council and a board member of enterprise software companies.
