Sean Kelly

Sean is a member of our Technology and Commercial Excellence practices and has worked extensively in our Private Equity practice.

He primarily advises software executives on strategy, growth, and mergers and acquisitions. He also supports private equity clients with commercial due diligence, with a focus on software targets. He has particular expertise in infrastructure software and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining Bain, Sean held sales and business operations roles at several venture-backed infrastructure software and cybersecurity companies, most recently at Rapid7.

He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
