Mark Dearnley is a partner based in our London office. He is a member of our Enterprise Technology, Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) and Government practices. He has more than 25 years of experience in information technology and digital leadership and advises on matters of strategy, digital, operations, outsourcing and transformation.
He previously served as the Chief Digital & Information Officer for HM Revenue & Customs and has also held CIO and technology leadership positions at Premium Credit, Vodafone, Cable & Wireless and Boots.
In 2015, Mark was named UKtech50’s second-most influential person in UK IT, and in 2012 he was named Oracle’s Global Business Unit CIO of the year. Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, as well as the British Computer Society.
Throughout his career, Mark has been heavily involved in apprenticeship schemes across the private and public sectors. He spent three years as a member of the CIO Board for the Tech Partnership charity and was recently appointed a Trustee of The Prince’s Trust.
Mark holds a BEng in Electronic and Electronic Engineering from Brunel University.
