Michael Schertler

Michael Schertler is a member of our Machinery and Metals practice, and its Lead in EMEA.

With more than two decades of management consulting experience, Michael works with industrial companies as well as private equity investors to improve performance and create long-term value of their portfolio companies. His expertise spans strategic and operational improvement programs from design to implementation; this includes growth strategy, large-scale transformation, supply chain management, manufacturing optimization as well as net working capital optimization.

Prior to Bain, Michael worked as a Business Development Manager at a startup and as a technology consultant. He holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität München.
