Intern in Global Risk Team
Description & Requirements
WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work, a champion of diversity and a model of social responsibility. We are currently #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor’s list since its founding in 2009. Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Intern, you’ll join Bain’s Global Risk Function and become part of our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global, cross-functional environment while learning how risk management works in a leading management consulting firm.
We’re looking for open, curious, and analytical individuals who are interested in understanding how businesses assess vendor risks — including financial stability, reputation, and compliance considerations. At the same time, if you’re excited about improving processes and exploring how technology (including AI tools) can make work more efficient, you’ll have opportunities to contribute in that space as well.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As part of the Third-Party Risk Management team, you will:
- Support the team in conducting third-party risk assessments, including research on companies' KYC and information security posture
- Propose and work on AI and tech-driven solutions to improve and optimize existing processes
- Contribute to selected automation and reporting initiatives using tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, or other internal systems
ABOUT YOU
- Final-year student or recent graduate with a finance, technical, or analytical background
- Availability of at least 30 hours per week
- Availability to work from the office at least 2 days per week
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and optimization mindset, passionate about automation
- Interest in AI and IT tool development
- Can-do attitude and ability to work in a team
- Strong focus on learning, development, and innovation
