WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our FRWD experts within the Marketing Excellence practice. FRWD is Bain & Company’s marketing acceleration capability, made up of a 100-person community of expert practitioners who partner with clients—and their agencies—to drive meaningful business results and transformation. We’re a team of seasoned professionals from some of the world’s leading in-house marketing teams, agencies, and tech platforms. Our work is rooted in real marketplace expertise and focused on delivering actionable insights and transformative outcomes. While we are not an agency, our collaborative, impact-oriented approach helps clients tackle their most pressing marketing challenges.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a FRWD Expert Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in integrated Bain casework, driving key workstreams and contributing to client results. You’ll work directly with client teams and cross-functional Bain peers, leveraging data, platform expertise, and insights to inform and accelerate marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Drive key marketing-focused workstreams with support from the leadership team

• Partner with Bain consultants in a blended team structure

• Apply deep expertise in a specific marketing domain (e.g., platform, channel, or industry)

• Conduct in-platform analysis to develop insights and testing plans

• Deliver zero-defect materials and outputs that exceed client expectations

• Clearly communicate how your workstream contributes to the broader marketing strategy

• Mentor and direct junior case team members

• Contribute to FRWD’s internal initiatives and recruiting efforts

ABOUT YOU
Must Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience in agency, brand, in-house, or platform environments

• Track record and hands-on experience across performance media platforms like Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube, and programmatic media (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, etc.)

• Exposure to web and app analytics, with an understanding of customer journeys, funnels, and conversion levers

• Ability to join the dots between brand marketing and performance marketing, designing measurement frameworks to understand full funnel impact

• Strong capability to design, execute, and optimize campaigns to deliver on KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPA)

• Strong grasp of audience segmentation, targeting strategies, creative testing, and budget allocation

• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Appsflyer, or Mixpanel

• Ability to identify and recommend optimization opportunities to improve conversion rates, reduce drop-offs, and enhance user experience

• Clear, confident communicator with strong organizational skills

• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams

• Bachelor’s degree required

Nice to Have

• Certifications in relevant digital platforms (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, The Trade Desk, Adobe)

• Graduate or advanced degree

• Experience in marketing operations, due diligence, or e-commerce acceleration
