Trent Murphey

Trent is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice, with particular depth in Automotive and Aviation. He is also a member of Performance Improvement and Strategy practice areas.

Trent has nearly 10 years of experience across a range of industries, including automotive & mobility, airlines, and energy. His areas of focus with his public and private equity-owned clients include strategy, cost reduction, working capital optimization, and driving large-scale transformations. He excels in advising companies as they navigate uncertainty, driving tangible results to improve profitability and growth. 

Beyond his client work, Trent is deeply involved in recruiting, leading our efforts in Texas at the undergraduate and MBA levels. He has also led local training to ensure our firm hires and retains high-performing and diverse talent.

Before joining the firm, Trent served as a Teach For America corps member in Atlanta and received his MBA from Darden at University of Virginia, where he was a Shermet scholar.

Trent remains passionate about education, and is now involved in the Dallas public charter system, where his elementary-aged children attend.
