Ziheng Zhu is a core member of our Greater China Performance Improvement practice, specializing in procurement and large-scale cost transformation.
With over a decade of consulting and industry experience across China and the US, Ziheng brings a global perspective and performance improvement expertise, helping clients in the advanced manufacturing, consumer products and retail spaces.
Ziheng brings deep expertise in supply chain and procurement. In particular, he focuses on applying direct and indirect sourcing optimization, transformation/change management, and procurement analytics in different contexts, such as M&A operations diligence, post-merger integration, and cost transformation.
In addition to his casework, Ziheng is a leader of Greater China's Inspirational Leadership program, which aims to foster the well-being of its team members, build resilience, and improve the firm's overall sustainability.
Prior to joining Bain, Ziheng specialized in strategic operations at another consulting firm and worked in a revenue management role at a leading US telecom company
He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in finance, psychology, and mathematics-economics.
