For haulage companies, the economic crisis has fed through to greater fleet flexibility through a higher rental component. This will sustainably strengthen the rental market for trucks in Germany, as in many other European countries. At the same time, truck rental companies that are dependent on manufacturers remain stuck in a phase of weakness following the crisis.
