David Allen

David Allen is a member in Bain's Enterprise Technology and Digital practices with particular expertise in architecture, Agile / DevOps, cloud strategy and product development. David is also a member of the firm's Telecommunications, Media and Technology practices and is affiliated with the Advanced Analytics and Retail practices.

David is a business-focused senior technology leader with more than 25 years of experience creating great software products, fostering innovation and developing strategies for organizations that differentiate with technology. His experience spans the financial services and technology industries on a global basis, from startups to Fortune 100 companies. He is passionate about building and developing great teams and mentoring emerging leaders.

His specialties include cloud-based product development, strategy, enterprise architecture, technical operations, technology innovation, product management, high-volume transaction processing, security, storage and agile methodologies.

Prior to joining Bain in 2013, David held a number of CTO, CIO and other leadership roles at companies including Visa, Seagate Technology, Reuters and Instinet. He was also founder and CTO of New Castle Partners.
