Josef Rieder is a vice president in our Advanced Analytics Group.
Josef leads a team of marketing science and advanced analytics experts across our EMEA offices. His broad methodological expertise allows him to advise Bain case teams and clients with strategic segmentations, branding, product development, pricing optimization, marketing effectiveness and customer experience analyses – using a variety of different data sources, such as customer databases, primary research, behavioral data and social media.
To accomplish these tasks, Josef and his team apply a series of advanced analytics tools, including latent class analysis, conjoint, complex driver and predictive models and other types of simulations and optimizations.
In addition to supporting our client work, Josef has contributed to numerous conference presentations.
Prior to joining Bain in 2006, Josef spent seven years working for marketing research firms with a strong analytical focus.
