Lorenzo Ferroni is a partner in Bain & Company's Rome office. He is an expert in the firm's Healthcare practice.
He has nearly 20 years of management consulting experience focused in delivering results for business leaders.
Lorenzo focuses his work primarily on the healthcare and transportation sectors. Within the healthcare industry, he advises clients along the whole value chain, such as pharma companies, healthcare providers both in the private and public sector and med-tech companies, as well as service providers to the industry such as CMOs, CROs and API producers. Within the transportation sector (airports, airlines, railways, highways), he has developed specific and deep expertise in the airport business, complemented by a strong knowledge of the airline industry.
Lorenzo also applies his healthcare and transportation expertise to work performed for EPCs, applying the concession business model both to hospitals and to airports, highways and bridges. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, restructuring programs, performance improvement, change management, M&A and carve-outs, organization re-design and management control systems and processes.
Prior to joining Bain in 1997, Lorenzo was an investment banker, first in New York with SBC Warburg and then in London with Merrill Lynch.
He holds a degree in Business Management from La Sapienza University and an MBA from Stern.
