WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Process Excellence team within the Enterprise Technology team, part of Bain’s digital capabilities practice. In this multidisciplinary group, you’ll help clients modernize their tech strategy, architecture, and systems, design end-to-end business processes – aligning technology with business goals to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation. You’ll develop enterprise-wide solutions, optimize cloud and data architectures, and integrate AI to enable scalable end-to-end digital transformations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Mission

• Design best-in-class Plan to Fulfil processes in S/4 HANA, understanding the full process end-to-end

• Drive design via all relevant successive phases to successful implementation (technical implementation will be done by SI)
• Deliver client excellence through new manufacturing and logistics-related ERP insights and by executing day-to-day delivery in a high-quality, detail-oriented manner
• Contribute to preparation and presentation of major ERP proposals with manufacturing and logistics insights

Essential functions

• Participate in digital transformation projects redesigning processes end-to-end focused on planning, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics, with additional exposure to adjacent processes such as S2P and L2C
• Serve as a subject matter expert for clients, offering profound knowledge of the business processes, ERP capabilities and incorporating an outside-in perspective by applying leading practices
• Plan, execute, and manage quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes
• Prepare and finalize project deliverables, including reports, workshop materials, and business proposals
• Engage in project and program management activities, such as reviewing and maintaining project plans, actions, and risk logs; scheduling and leading project meetings; and documenting and following up on agreed actions
• Implement focused change management strategies to ensure stakeholder buy-in and acceptance
• (International) travel is required up to 50% of working time

ABOUT YOU

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business administration, information technology, business informatics, or related fields
• Preferred: Courses in supply chain management, operations, and management science, or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years professional experience, with at least 4 years in ERP/SAP transformations and at least one full implementation focused on the Plan to Fulfil process
• Demonstrated experience with multiple rollouts and comprehensive design in SAP S/4 HANA, specifically PP (Production Planning) and MM (Material Management) modules; experience with related modules (EWM, TM) is preferred
• Proven success managing and expanding senior client relationships
• Industry experience in consumer products and/or life sciences
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Deep process expertise in planning, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics with an ability to understand the process end-to-end, and experience in implementation
• Experience with OMP and its integration with S/4 strongly preferred
• Experience with client relationship, ability to discuss the bigger picture and challenge the client on your respective process, guide the client on where the biggest business value drivers are, etc. while also being able to go down to details when needed
• Ability to make and drive a plan, prepare workshops, and drive client alignment through outside-in recommendations
• Ability to use data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization and innovation in client manufacturing and logistics processes
• Familiarity with methods and frameworks, including lean, Six Sigma, or agile, to identify and eliminate waste, defects, and inefficiencies in manufacturing and logistics operations
• Ability to implement tests and simulations within ERP systems for process improvement solutions that will enhance manufacturing and logistics KPIs (quality, cost, delivery, etc.)
• Familiarity with change management techniques to assist the client in sustaining changes to manufacturing and logistics operations
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, effective collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective leadership skills to manage a small team of junior analysts or experts, fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and ensuring successful execution of project tasks and objectives
