Anna Lúcia Horta

Anna Lúcia Horta has more than 20 years’ experience in the finance sector, having worked for Citibank, BankBoston, IFC/World Bank and Odebrecht Environmental. Her financial sector experience anchors on project structuring, project finance, debt instruments and M&A.

She has been with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) since 2016, mostly working on innovative financial mechanisms and business models to foster deforestation- and conversion-free beef and soy production in the Amazon, Cerrado and Chaco biomes.

Anna Lúcia is fluent in English and Portuguese, has advanced command of Spanish and basic knowledge of French and Italian. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University of Brasilia, a master’s degree from the State University of New York, and extensions in corporate governance, investor relations and sustainability.
